ELIJA (Empowering Long Island’s Journey Through Autism) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2002 with a mission to empower individuals with autism of all ages, uplift families and build inclusive communities through compassionate, evidence-based support. Grounded in scientifically validated approaches and a belief in each person’s capacity for meaningful growth, ELIJA delivers a continuum of programs, including education, advocacy and community support through the ELIJA Foundation; individualized, ABA-based instruction through the ELIJA School; transition and vocational programs that prepare adolescents and adults for independent, fulfilling lives; and outreach services that extend expert guidance to families and educators beyond the classroom.
